Garrett Korte, PGA Certified Professional serves as the PGA Career Consultant for the Northern Ohio, Southern Ohio, and Tri-State PGA Sections.

A passionate advocate for the game of golf, Garrett believes strongly in PGA Professionals and the role they play not only at their facilities but also within their communities. The bond formed between PGA Professionals and the golfers of their facilities is paramount to mutual success and is a major focus in employment placement. He looks forward to working with all types of facilities, their owners, PGA Professionals and operators to develop robust environments that will harbor the successes of both the facilities and their employees.

Prior to joining our team, Garrett served as the Head Golf Professional & Director of Operations at Sand Ridge Golf Club outside of Cleveland, OH. With a wide range of experience in the golf industry, Garrett has spent time at Findlay Country Club, Huntingdon Valley Country Club, and The Country Club-OH and filled various roles at public golf facilities. While at Sand Ridge GC, he fostered a strong team chemistry with his staff and encouraged club participation and the overall enjoyment of the game of golf with his membership. His passion is simply to share the joys of golf with children and adults, opening doorways to many possibilities and assisting his PGA Professional peers on their own personal career journey.

Earning his PGA Membership in 2009 and gaining Certifications in all 7 disciplines by 2013, he has an active desire to gain knowledge and grow as a professional earning him Assistant Golf Professional of the Year honors in 2014. He has served on the Northern Ohio PGA Section Board of Directors and with several committees at both the Section and Chapter level.

A graduate of The University of Findlay with degrees in Business Management and Operations & Logistics with a minor in Finance. Korte lives in Solon, Ohio with wife Katie, son Remy and daughter Hudson.
