Michael Mueller, PGA
Mike Mueller, PGA serves as the PGA ExecuSearch Consultant for the Carolinas PGA Section, working to positively impact PGA Professionals' careers, assist employers, foster win-win employment relationships, and promote the hiring of PGA members.
Mueller is an almost 20-year veteran of the golf industry, beginning his career in the Carolinas at Bryan Park Golf Course following graduation from UNC-Greensboro with a Master's in Counseling. Other roles on his resume include an Assistant Professional position at Atlanta (GA) Country Club, where he won the Acushnet Apprentice Scholarship and serving as General Manager and Head Professional at Kirksville (MO) Country Club.
While in Kansas City, MO, he concurrently acted as the Director of Instruction at The National Golf Club of Kansas City (MO), Head Coach for the Women's Golf Team at Park University, and owned an indoor golf instruction and practice facility. During that time, he coached an NAIA All-American, was named a US Kids Golf Honorable Mention Instructor and was nominated for the Midwest PGA Junior Golf Leader Award.
Mueller then returned to North Carolina and was most recently the Head Golf Professional at The Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, helping the club achieve significant membership growth during his four-year tenure. He has been nominated for the Carolinas PGA Merchandiser of the Year and Horton Smith Awards and serves as a member of Carolinas PGA Board of Directors, representing Area IX, and as a member of the Apprentice Education and Employment Committees for the CPGA.
Mueller lives in Fuquay Varina, NC with his wife, Stephanie and his children, Jonah and Ansley.
